We know nothing about marketing, and are kinda happy to keep it that way, lol, but we do know how to make things!

Because we are manufacturers, we’ve gradually accumulated an array of machines that will create and/or brand products to help people remember you and your business – “Merchandise”, if you can sell them, “Branding” if they’re giveaways.

From the day our first laser machine arrived some 17 years ago we’ve been adding logos and part numbers to the engineering parts that we manufacture for fellow engineering companies.

As well as 3 axis CNC milling and plasma cutting we now have 3 different types of laser machines, flatbed UV Printing, 3D printing, sublimation and heat press equipment that means we should be capable of engraving/marking or printing onto just about any material you can name.

For example, our CO2 laser cuts and engraves organic components but won’t touch metal. Our Fibre laser will deep-engrave or surface-mark all metals, but wood and paper are invisible to it. The new UV laser however, will surface mark everything – wood, paper, metal, plastic, glass (including internal engraving) but won’t remove metal the way that the Fibre laser does, so cannot weaken a highly stressed part whilst adding your part number or logo (engine guys, think con-rods…).

And our brand new industrial UV printer will print onto just about anything. Dual printing heads lay down white ink (to allow any colour substrate to be printed), followed by colour, and then a layer of lacquer – all in one hit, onto metals, glass, perspex, fabric, you name it!!

As with all Ferriday stuff, we want you to think about small, manageable and affordable quantities – hopefully that way you’ll want to come back and order more. Samples are available upon request, and there will never be any set-up or engineering costs. If it’s a one-off, we’ll still do it, and because these machines work so fast volume runs can be surprisingly economical.

Getting away from engineering and engine components for a moment – other products include things like

– Copper beer tokens for pubs, lovely little coin-like coppers that keep track of what beers are in. Customers like to take these away as souvenirs, but they cost less than half a pint of beer 🙂
– Wedding favours and seat markers in metal, wood, stone etc.
– Wedding and stag night drinks tokens, can include date, venue, names etc.
– Metal table markers for indoor or outside use, can include a QR code to a booking or ordering site etc
– Trivets to protect a table from pans, in steel, granite, limestone etc, with a family name on, these make a lovely wedding, C*******s or birthday present.
– Pet grave markers in stone.
