NEW RAPID PROTOTYPING CNC MILLING FACILITY
We have recently invested in a brand new 3D CNC milling machine. It's
labelled as "Rapid Prototyping" because of the type of software used,
its high spindle speed (up to 50,000rpm) and its
method of "small & often" metal removal. Our software has the ability to convert an on-screen image into a machining program, with tool paths, cutting speeds & feed rates calculated within a couple of minutes.

This machine is used for accurate repeat machining of engine components
and other 3D profiling jobs, as well as simple jobs like one-off inlet
& exhaust manifold adaptor plates (and spacer plates if you're looking for
that last bit of torque). Machining your logo into a rocker cover or other components can be completed quickly & easily. "Brag" plates to fit into an existing recess can be
made from basic measurements & descriptions. Trade enquiries are most welcome, and will be treated with complete
confidentiality.
We're
only interested in machining soft materials (aluminium alloys, copper etc),
possible applications are combustion chambers, spark plug covers, supercharger mountings,
thermostat housing base plates, inlet & exhaust manifold adaptor plates, just about any
Copper Gasket you can think of... etc.
Now available - 3D CNC machining to
Combustion Chambers.
If you're building a turbo conversion we can machine your
combustion chamber for the correct compression ratio. CVH Hemi, YB
Cosworth, Ford 2.8V6, MGB & MG Midget heads can
be done now, while others are under development. This will be especially
useful for turbo heads that have been heavily skimmed, and will save the
engine builder from having to machine (& weaken) the pistons. For more
